Is an instrument purchase a good idea, as opposed to renting another year? You might also consider a step up instrument. While entry level instruments do an acceptable job, a step up instrument could provide what your child needs for that little extra edge.
We have a “rent to purchase” plan that many people have discovered is a very reasonable way to upgrade. With approved credit, we ask for 10% down on an instrument. Then take the balance, subtract your rental credit, and divide by either 24 or 36 months for a payment. There is no interest charged on the balance. Please check the interest rates of other stores.
We also reward a cash purchase with a 15% discount off the top in addition to rental credit. We will even consider a one year “same as cash” payment plan.
